Shelby Waite

Shelby joined the firm as Operations Manager in 2022.  She brought with her over ten years’ experience in the retail industry, most of that time spent in retail management.  While working in retail, Shelby developed a love for details and found that she excelled at helping to maintain the operational integrity of each establishment she worked in.  In the Doucet Co., LPA office Shelby is dedicated to providing a smooth and efficient working environment so that attorneys and paralegals can focus their time on helping clients.

Shelby’s extended family are native Columbusites, and she has lived in the Central Ohio area her entire life.  Born an Ohio State Buckeye, Shelby spent several years at the University herself, studying both political science and fashion and retail studies.  Cheering on The Ohio State University Football team is one of her favorite fall activities.

When not working, Shelby can be found spoiling her four dogs.  Not necessarily because they’ve been good dogs, but because it brings her joy.  Shelby also has a profound love of paper, pens, and postage stamps.  She often looses track of time when creating cards and letter and is a big fan of old-fashioned snail mail.
