Emily Webb grew up in Columbus Ohio and graduated cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies: War and Peace. Emily is currently a second year at Capital University Law School where she received top marks in three of her classes and is a Student Ambassador and a Member of Law Review. She has hopes of graduating in May 2020 and becoming an attorney. In her free time, Emily enjoys outdoor activities, especially with her dog, Red.
What was your childhood like?
As a child I had an opportunity to express myself and figure out who I wanted to be and when I was voted Judge during my fifth grade field trip to exchange city, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer.
Did anyone influence you growing up?
My mom was my role model growing up. She taught me how to do the right thing and always be myself.
Who is important in your life now?
The most important people in my life are my mom, dad and sister, Allison, Wes and Aubrey Webb and boyfriend Ryan Sobie.
Why do you have an interest in the law?
I have an interest in law because it affects every part of our lives and I want to use it to help people.
What do you like most about consumer law?
I like consumer law because the people practicing it help people who feel they do not have a voice against big corporations or banks have a voice.
