Liz Steele is a paralegal for Doucet & Associates. She grew up in Columbus and attended Ohio Dominican University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In her free time Liz is the color guard director for the Columbus Saints Drum & Bugle Corps.
What was your childhood like?
I went to Hamilton Twp Local Schools. I competed in dance competitions, played softball and soccer. I was always staying active in any way that I could.
Did anyone influence you growing up?
Growing up I always looked up to my mother. She always played an active role in our lives while also working as a real estate agent. She was a self-starter and always had compassion for other people. She was well known in the Church community and always helped her clients in any way that she could.
Who is important in your life now?
My family is a very important part of my life. The Columbus Saints Performing Arts also holds a special place in my heart. It is very rewarding to be able to watch the members grow and become better performers as well as a brilliant young adults.
Why do you have an interest in the law? What do you like most about consumer law?
I love being able to help our clients work through tough situations. It is very rewarding to help people who are going through hard times or have been wronged by others. I am very proud of the work we do at Doucet & Associates.
