I grew up in Canfield, Ohio. After graduating high school, I became a Rotary International Youth Exchange student in Kuenzelsau, Germany for a year. After returning from Germany, I attended Ohio University, where I graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Linguistics. During my time at Ohio University, I participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including being a member of the Marching 110 and National Honorary Band Service Fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi, Inc.. I also participated in a Study Abroad Program to Beijing Language and Culture University in China for two months. I currently live in Columbus with my girlfriend, Cali, and my dog, Archer, and enjoy playing my saxophone, video games, and all things Cleveland sports. I can speak German, Chinese, and French.
My childhood was fairly uneventful, I spent most of it developing my love for sports and music. I’d say the biggest influence in my life would be my family and how they always emphasized the importance of education, cultural understanding, and the Arts when I was young. I am interested in law because I want to help people in an area that can be very hard and difficult for the everyday person to navigate. I enjoy working in consumer law because I feel like I’m helping people tackle the serious problems they face in their lives and making a difference for the better.
